Janja Prokić

The art of minimalist elegance.

Janja is – without a doubt – one of the most original jewelry makers out there. She was born in Belgrade, Serbia, but moved to Prague when she was nine and later graduated from a number of local art schools.

She created her first jewelry line in 2011 and got nominated for the Czech Grand Design Award right away. Beginner’s luck, you think? Not in the slightest. Several nominations followed as well as two awards for the Jewellery designer of the year – in 2014 and 2018. There is a good reason for all the recognition – Janja’s style is unusually feminine, often inspired by nature. It is minimalistic in its form but rich in meaning.

Each piece is a reaction to something that happened to her, which is why she calls her collections ‘diaries’. We can only hope she will keep writing them!
