The Circle of Nature and the Delicacy of Craftsmanship
Hana Polívková, a graduate of the K.O.V. Studio and Jewellery Department at the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art in Pilsen, and the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, has been working on jewelry for several years. Nature serves as her main source of inspiration, with her creations often featuring motifs reminiscent of wheat and braids that wind into circles. These natural patterns reflect the cyclical and repetitive nature that is so characteristic of the world around us. Her jewelry is marked by an organic shape that evokes the fragility and ever-changing qualities of nature. In addition to participating in prestigious exhibitions such as Designblok and Prague Design Week, her pieces are included in the permanent collections of the West Bohemian Museum in Pilsen and the Museum of Glass and Costume Jewelry in Jablonec nad Nisou. Hana Polívková is also admired by prominent personalities, including the First Lady of the Czech Republic.
