When creating the Krakatit collection, Rony Plesl was inspired by one of the beautiful and traditional patterns of Czech crystal – the cut star. While the original inspiration pays tribute to the old Czech ornamental glass technology, the stars decorating the Krakatit glasses are processed in a completely new contemporary design. In this collection, the glass represents a crystal clear sky with an explosion of glittering stars that we look up to when we want to make a wish. Each of the stars has its own unique appearance and size and is carefully ground by talented grinders from the Rückl workshop into crystal clear or iconic pink glasses. The elegant Krakatit glasses may not fulfill your most secret wish, but they will certainly light up your bar and give your interior a twist.
